Summary chart from 3 Mar to 9 Mar

Sunday - 3 Mar

I woke up at 7:45 am and went for a swim that lasted till 10 am. The swim was not only refreshing but also a delightful exploration of various swimming techniques. After shower, I played Genshin while savoring a hearty breakfast, followed by a bit of procrastination with some quality time lying around and relaxing. Despite attempting to dive into accountancy studies, drowsiness took over, leading to a short nap before treating myself to a pizza lunch.

In the afternoon, I decided to begin my Japanese language learning through an Udemy course for JLPT N5 that I had previously enrolled in. To add a creative touch to my day, I played around with an AI image generator, conjuring up some anime characters that had been lingering in my thoughts. As evening rolled in, I surrendered to more procrastination with games and YouTube. Although I eventually initiated the continuation of my book review edits, progress was a bit sluggish. Wrapping up the day, I tuned into videos elucidating proper techniques for freestyle and butterfly swimming. Excited to give these techniques a shot, I look forward to implementing them in tomorrow's swim session.

🌟Rating of productiveness: 2.3/5🌟
I didn't have a super productive day, but I did manage to squeeze in a morning swim. In the afternoon, I spent some time learning Japanese, and I also tried to edit my book review blog. However, the progress was a bit slow and got interrupted, so I can't say I'm super proud of it.

🌟Rating of happiness: 3.5/5 πŸŒŸ
While the day lacked excitement and I found myself frequently feeling drowsy, especially after meals, I did find joy in the morning swim, the delicious lunch, the AI images I received, and the humorous stand-up comedy videos from John Mulaney and Gabriel Iglesias.

Monday - 4 Mar

I started my day at 7:30 am by preparing meals for my sister and then headed for a swim until 9:30 am. Following breakfast and a round of Genshin Impact, I unintentionally dozed off until noon. After waking up, I had lunch and resumed my study session, focusing on ICAEW Accounting, with today's lesson covering Chapter 11: Company financial statements. I wrapped up my study session at 9:15 pm, intermittently procrastinating with meals and experimenting with an AI image generator. Following a shower, dinner, and laundering my swimming suit, it was nearly 10:30 pm. I finally watched the deep dive on Salesforce (ticker symbol: CRM) before concluding the day with some entertaining YouTube videos featuring stand-up comedians John Mulaney and Taylor Tomlinson.

🌟Rating of productiveness: 3.0/5🌟
The day wasn't super productive, especially with that extra bit of morning sleep. But hey, I still managed to tackle my daily accounting studies.

🌟Rating of happiness: 3.7/5🌟
Exploring the Image AI generator turned out to be a blast, and I relished the experience of witnessing my imagination materialize without delving into the art of drawingβ€”although that's still on my learning wishlist. Apart from that, catching John Mulaney sharing his rehab stories and Taylor Tomlinson delving into her relationship woes provided both laughs and insights.

Tuesday - 5 Mar

I kicked off my day at 7:40 am with meal prep duties. Attempting my usual exercise routine proved challenging, perhaps due to yesterday's exhaustive swim. I ended up procrastinating my workout by listening to the captivating audiobook 'If You Could See the Sun' by Ann Liang. The storyline had me hooked, even though I'm just around 30% into the book. After a refreshing shower and a quick cup of oatmeal, I spent a few more minutes lounging in bed before diving into Genshin Impact. Following the gaming session, I delved into studying ICAEW accounting, specifically Chapter 12 covering company financial statements under IFRS. It felt like a recap of the previous ten chapters, which is crucial since I didn't absorb everything initially, and some details lurked in the depths of my memory. The study manual was manageable, but the workbook presented challenges. I found myself struggling to recall seemingly easy concepts, and I'm hoping that consistent practice will enhance my memory.

Taking a short break from studying, I indulged in some AI image exploration for entertainment before returning to my exercises for accounting studies. Following a refreshing shower and a satisfying dinner, I started my trading studies, wrapping up the day around 12:30 am.

🌟Rating of productiveness: 3.3/5🌟
I managed to be more productive today compared to yesterday, although I couldn't finish the workbook because of the extensive workload related to this chapter, which essentially serves as a summary of the accounting course. Other than that, there weren't any other noteworthy activities for today.

🌟Rating of happiness: 3.5/5🌟
The day had a somewhat empty vibe, but it turned out to be a neutral one, filled with accounting study sessions and some YouTube video watching.

Wednesday till Friday - 6 Mar to 8 Mar

Apart from my regular morning routine of preparing breakfast, I've been hitting the swimming pool frequently lately. While I haven't been updating this website every day, here's a quick recap: I managed to complete Chapters 13 and 14 of the ICAEW Accounting syllabus. Now, I'm gearing up to conquer the final chapter, and I'm excited to wrap it up this upcoming Sunday.

🌟Rating of productiveness: 2.3/5🌟
During these days, I've found myself procrastinating a lot, and to make matters worse, my sleep has been disrupted again. I couldn't resist using my phone right before bedtime, leading to sleep deprivation. As a result, I feel the urge to sleep in the morning or afternoon, and it ends up wasting my entire day. I'm definitely dissatisfied with my daily progress, and I acknowledge that I need to be more consistent with my sleep and work schedule.

🌟Rating of happiness: 3.2/5🌟
I experienced a lingering sense of guilt and constant fatigue all day, even though I didn't accomplish anything significant. However, the elevated dopamine levels from watching stand-up comedies and reading mangas provided an accurate measure of 'happiness.' Reflecting on it at the end of the day, I realized it might not have been the best choice.

Saturday - 9 Mar

I started my day at 8:30 am, and after a refreshing cold shower, I did my usual gaming sessions and read some manga. Soon after, I joined my sister for a trip to the cinema to catch the latest movie, 'Demon Slayer: To the Hashira Training.' The anime movie delivered an incredible experience on the big screen, making the movie ticket totally worthwhile. The cinematic view of the Hashiras' katana skills and Nezuko's adorable moments added to the enjoyment.

After that, we opted for a quick McDonald's lunch before continuing our day with a visit to the hair salon and some grocery shopping. After a shower and a bit of procrastination, we treated ourselves to Bak kut teh (pork rib broth) for dinner, a special weekend meal as my dad dropped by during the weekends. While enjoying our meal, we watched the movie 'Alienoid: Return to the Future.' Later, I retreated to my room, spending time lounging around until 11 pm. To wrap up the day, I edited this website before calling it a night.

🌟Rating of productiveness: 1.0/5🌟
For the day, I didn't manage to accomplish much on the productivity front, except for dedicating an hour to edit content on this website.

🌟Rating of happiness: 4.7/5🌟
Today was packed with enjoyable activities, from watching the Demon Slayer movie to getting a refreshing haircut and having a delightful dinner, topped off with the Alienoid's movie. By the end of the day, fatigue set in, but I found satisfaction in the reasons behind my weariness, which wasn't solely attributed to prolonged screen time with electronic devices.
