One-Handed Triangle Cut

As I gear up to continue my cardistry journey in 2025, I’ve started exploring more cardistry-focused channels on YouTube. One standout I recently discovered is X-Decks, a channel offering beginner-to-intermediate content—a perfect fit for those who’ve mastered the basics and are eager to gradually advance toward professional-level tricks.

The first trick I came across on X-Decks was the One-Handed Triangle Cut (OHTC). Below is the video tutorial for anyone interested in learning it:

It’s not a particularly hard trick to learn, but its Revolutionary Cut variation adds a layer of difficulty. The challenge lies in smoothly adapting to another deck during the rotation for the Revolutionary Cut.

After mastering this trick, it’ll be exciting to incorporate it into routines like the standard Charlier Cut or Revolutionary Cut, or even while the right hand performs other tricks simultaneously. Personally, I’m growing quite fond of this move—it’s perfect for practicing with just my left hand while casually watching videos. 🎴
